It is necessary that all foreigners willing to run business in Bulgaria should know how to organize their employment relations in accordance with the rules and procedures prescribed by law

Flexible employment is the name given to any type of working pattern which is different from your existing one. Flexible working arrangements in Bulgaria may include:

Non-standard contracts

Fixed-term contracts Contract to do a specified job within a date of accomplishment fixed exactly.
V time working contracts The workers negotiate to work less than the standard hours of the full working time.
"On call" contracts Contract with expert who shows at work on call to do a precisely fixed job.
Temporary employment Hiring personnel to do a concrete job in an exactly fixed term.
Term time contracts The worker is under a fixed contract but can use paid/unpaid leave in an exactly fixed period (for instance, during school holidays).
Working from home The worker does the specified job from home, far from the employers' premises.
Telework Moving the job from the basic place of work to another place but with the help of modern information technologies.

Flexible regulation of the working time

Irregular working hours The worker has freedom of work at own choice outside standard basic hours fixed by the employer.
Flexi-time working The workers have different hours of start and end of the working time as well as for a break that allows the company to be open for more hours.
Condensed/Annualized hours The workers can cover standard working hours per week in fewer working days.
Part-time working The standard full working time is divided between two workers who negotiate hours between each other.
Shift work Work under a duty chart defined by the employer, as the working time for the respective period is calculated in total.
Term time working The worker remains at fixed-term contract but may use the paid/unpaid leave during the school holidays.

The introduction of flexible work policy can bring benefits for both the employer and the employees.
